How ZeroFox's allotment works
Each ZeroFox plan covers a number of takedowns per year, not a number of months of monitoring. The mechanism is precise, verbatim from the published pricing FAQ: “A takedown only counts toward your allotment once it's successfully completed. Requests that are denied, require additional evidence, are already inactive (“down on arrival”), or receive no response from the provider do not count against your total.”
This is a billing clause that favors the customer in principle — it does not penalize a takedown that fails for reasons outside their control. It is not, however, a results guarantee: nothing indicates what happens if a paid-for takedown never succeeds, beyond it not being deducted from the quota.
The only provider to bill natively in euros
Of the six providers reviewed, ZeroFox is the only one to explicitly publish the euro among its accepted currencies (alongside USD, GBP, CAD, SGD).
